I finally finished replacing all the LSL with the new language ☀️
Memory usage decreased slightly. Line count and character count dropped to roughly half — thanks not only to syntax improvements, but also to eliminating duplicate code scattered across scripts.
With LSL, I’d assign roles to scripts and use link_message to handle processing for each role, to minimize code duplication across different scripts. With the new language, roles are managed at the source file level, and the output scripts can mix code from different roles as long as it fits within memory — so I’m refactoring with that in mind. There’s still a long way to go, but I’m aiming for lower memory usage and faster response times.
