I’ve decided to manage my diary using a static site generator (SSG) — a technology that’s a perfect fit for me since I love things that are simple and fast. A diary doesn’t need to show different content to different users; it just serves HTML, so SSG is just right ✨

I’d started the diary on Hatena Blog, but it didn’t really suit my preferences and updates slowed down. With SSG, I can write in my favorite local editor, commit the file, and it automatically builds and goes live — no need to go through a web admin panel, which feels wonderful 😆

I’m thinking I might be fine with just Primfeed and this diary, stepping back from X with all my frustrations about its management and systems.
