I was finally able to release Hitoshina - Pose v2.5❗️
Since v2.4 was released on November 4, 2024, it has been about a year and a half since the last release😅

Second Life has a constraint that “the total number of contents inside a worn item is capped at 29,999.” Hitoshina - Pose uses around 23,500 of them, and I designed v2.0 thinking that with roughly 6,500 left over there shouldn’t be any way to exceed the limit. However, there is a men’s item that holds about 8,300 contents on its own, and ever since v2.0 I’ve occasionally received reports that the two cannot be worn at the same time.
I considered cutting the per-axis XYZ steps from the current 11 levels (5 per side, 11^3 = 1331) down to 9 levels (4 per side, 9^3 = 729) to reduce the overall count to about 15,000, but I wanted to leave room for finer adjustment than even the current 11 levels allows, so I kept exploring other ways for the two to coexist.
Up through v2.4, when operating another user with Hitoshina - Pose, the mechanism was to send an object to the target user and communicate with that object, making it possible to control poses without requesting animation permission.
I went with that design because I wanted the pose to clear simply by detaching the worn object — without needing to use the Viewer’s feature to release the animation — when the target user moved to a SIM different from the user wearing Hitoshina - Pose. But given that scams do happen inside Second Life, having an object sent to you and then attaching it is something users probably don’t want to do unless it comes from someone they really trust, and I had started to suspect as much.
I myself found it quietly annoying that, when using Hitoshina - Pose, the sent object would stay in my inventory unless I deleted it. So I came to the conclusion that switching the operation of other users over to the animation-permission-request approach would be a sensible, practical solution.
